Gestern wurde bekannt, dass der amerikanischen Geheimdienst NSA durch eine spezielle Software Zugriff auf iPhones weltweit hatte und so in Echtzeit auf die Kamera, die GPS-Daten, die Position der umliegenden Mobilfunkantennen und vieles mehr zugreifen konnte.
Das kann und will Apple nicht auf sich sitzen lassen und hat deshalb heute in einem klaren Statement auf den Presserummel reagiert…

Apple und einige andere Technologiekonzerne hatten bereits laut eine Reform der Überwachungsmethoden von der US-Regierung gefordert. Darauf hatte US-Präsident Obama reagiert und Vertreter aller Firmen, darunter eben auch Apple CEO Tim Cook ins Weiße Haus geladen, um die Probleme zu diskutieren.
