BoyGeniusReport berichtete bereits vor etwas über einer Woche (und damit kurz vor der Veröffentlichung von iOS 4.3.1, dass Apple „den aktuell verwendeten iPad 2 Jailbreak-Exploit geschlossen“ habe.
Wie sich heraus stellt, war damit nicht nur limera1n und SHAtter gemeint, sondern auch chpwn's neuster – und bislang unveröffentlichter – Exploit.
chpwn: I can confirm @MuscleNerd is right: the iPad 2 jailbreak was linked to @chronicdevteam, not @iphone_dev. (But I don't think it was leaked.)

MuscleNerd: the problem is, how did Apple know they were fixing *the* iPad2 jailbreak hole (in BGR's article). There are lots of holes.
Die Frage, die sich auch MuscleNerd jetzt stellt, ist, wie Apple an den nicht veröffentlichten Exploit, der bislang nur in den Händen von chpwn und des Chronic Dev Teams war, kam.
