Mit dem „Ultra 5.1“ Hardware-Unlock bringt Gevey jetzt die neueste Version des Gevey iPhone Unlocks auf den Markt, die auch mit iOS 5.1 kompatibel sein soll.
Angaben des Herstellers zufolge funktioniert Gevey Ultra 5.1 mit den Baseband-Versionen 01.59.00, 02.10.00, 3.10.10, 4.10.10, 4.11.08, und 4.12.01.

The new GEVEY Ultra unlocks your GSM iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1 and earlier and now supports modem firmware versions 1.59, 2.10, 3.10.1, 4.10.1, 4.11.08, and 4.12.01. Currently, a tethered Jailbreak is available for iOS 5.1 for iPhone 4, and you will also need to install the latest Furious Mod file for proper operation.

Voraussetzungen für den Gevey-Unlock sind ein GSM-iPhone 4, Jailbreak (für iOS 5.1 derzeit nur tethered) und die neueste „Furious Mod“ Version.
