iOS 6 Stores: Generalüberholung geplant

Pünktlich zum Start des neuen mobilen Betriebssystems Apple sollen die drei großen „Hauptstores“ überarbeitet werden. Dazu zählen Apples iTunes, der App Store und natürlich der iBookstore. Die Änderungen sollen sich dabei ausschließlich auf iOS 6 beziehen – also nicht die computerbasierten Stores.

Absinthe 2.0: „One-More Thing“ Präsentation des One-Click iOS 5.1.1 Jailbreaks bei HITB

Der neueste untethered Jailbreak für iOS (Codename "Absinthe 2.0") erhielt im Rahmen der Hacker-Konferenz Hack In The Box (HITB) erstmals eine offizielle Präsentation durch die Hacker des Chronic Dev Teams.
Ganz im Stil des "One More Thing" Charakters von Steve Jobs' Keynotes wurde die Veröffentlichung am Ende einer Präsentation, "ganz nebenbei", bekannt gegeben:

For those who didn't follow the conference, or get caught up in the excitement that surrounded it, the 'one more thing' bomb-shell was related to the fact that the Dream Team used their presence at the security event to officially introduce the world to the v2.0 release of their one-click Absinthe jailbreak solution. After months of hard work and exploit finding, mixed with weeks of will-they-won't-they speculation, it turns out that they indeed did introduce us to Absinthe 2.0.
