Chinesische Apple-User scheinen enormes Interesse am zu haben. Wie es scheint wollen so viele Chinesen ein iPad Mini, dass Händler von einem „unstillbaren Hunger“ sprechen.

Die Nachfrage ist so groß, dass die weltweiten Lieferzeiten für alle Modelle wieder auf 2 Wochen gestiegen sind.

Brian White von Topeka Capital Markets spricht von „insatiable demand“ für das mini.

[blockquote]“Prior to the China launch, we indicated that the iPad mini would be the 'next big thing in China‘ and we believe this phenomenon is starting to develop,“ so White. „In our view, the smaller form factor and lower price point will allow Apple to sell the iPad mini in more meaningful volumes versus the regular-size iPad.“/[blockquote]

Apple's Vormarsch in den chinesischen Markt, der von vielen Analysten als kritisch bezeichnet wurde dürfte wohl ein voller Erfolg sein.
